So I changed this to make it update every day rather than every minute, but again it didnt fix the problem. I also read in other forums that the problem could be with the time interval that is set for the media server to update. Mine finds the server ok, connects for a minute or so then dro. I recently updated my NAS firmware to 1.42, however this didnt fix the prob. Is anyone having issues with the PS3 dropping connection to a Media Server running on a Vista PC. My PS3 and NAS drive are both connected to my Gigabit Linksys router via LAN, so Im sure its not a speed issue, especially as it even happens with small 200mb video files.
