To echo another commentor here, if I could make what I make now being a bookseller at B&N, I would do it in a heartbeat. We offer a retail environment like no other.
You can borrow books (to be a knowledgeable bookseller), get 50% off the cafe if the store has it, and the workplace environment is usually awesome (being a bookstore, it attracts fellow book-lovers!).
